Second, believe it or not, we have been successful in convincing a Chinese company to move manufacturing from China to right here in Union City. The parent company, 9to5 Seating, is currently seeking qualified, high-level management staff for their new sister company, Made In America Seating (MIA Seating). Currently, the company is only recruiting management staff. The management staff will then be responsible for building and recruiting a new manufacturing team over the next few months. In total, more than 500 jobs will be created over the next year. The plant is scheduled to become fully operational by next Spring. (SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS)

1- Tool & Die Manager

This position requires a skilled and knowledgeable person familiar with the fabrication of tools and dies for plastic injection molding, high pressure aluminum die-casting, and would have the required skills to program CNC mills and modern machine shop equipment, create tool-paths for the machining of the tool blocks, spot tools be able to assemble and disassemble tools, and be able to manage the entire tool fabrication process and tool-shop personnel. A qualified candidate for this position would have 5 to 10 years experience as a Tool & Die Maker in a Tool Shop environment.

2- Plant Manager

This position requires a degreed engineer (mechanical or electrical), with 5 to 10 years of experience managing manufacturing plants, and familiar with all aspects of manufacturing, including: Purchasing- Inventory Control- Production Scheduling- Lean Manufacturing-Production capacity, Efficiency, and Quality Control systems-ERP Systems and other such like advance manufacturing tools and systems.

3- Financial Controller

Responsibilities: • Key member of the senior leadership team. • Is accountable for and directs the monthly and annual financial reporting in accordance with GAAP, preparation of timely financial statements, budget reporting, forecasting, and communication of any concerns to Executive Leadership. • Manages and directs accounting personnel and provides leadership for staff development, and the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and principles.• Responsible for all financial activity including ledger, payroll, billing, payables, purchasing, inventory control, and capital expenditure analysis and tracking. • Manages plant wide headcount and cost reduction programs with responsibilities for asset and expense monitoring, policy administration. • Leads Audit support management, Internal controls, ERP system maintenance and upkeep, and communicates activities to Executive Leadership.

Qualifications and General Requirements: • B.S./B.A. degree with major in accounting, CPA or MB preferred. • 5-8 years prior Controller position in a high-growth manufacturing company. • Knowledge of manufacturing and cost accounting preferred, including efficiency monitoring, variance, excess, and obsolete analysis. • Software and Office Equipment Knowledge: to include in depth working knowledge of ERP systems, MS OFFICE (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Explorer).

4- HR/Admin Manager

Responsibilities: • Key member of the senior leadership team. • Is accountable for and manages all aspects of Recruitment, Training, Compensation & Benefits, employee relations, Performance Evaluation, Labor Laws, Workers Compensation, and OSHA/Safety requirement. • Manages all aspects of Time & Attendance, in-house Payroll preparation, benefits, training, OSHA Safety and company HR procedures. • Oversees general office administration of a manufacturing environment. •Promotes a culture of Team Building, Safety awareness, Efficiency and Lean Manufacturing. • Implements training to prevent Harassment and Workplace Violence. • Administers grievance proceedings and progressive disciplinary actions. • Proficient computer capabilities: MS Office, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Quick-Books Payroll, and all relevant business software applications.

Qualifications and General Requirements: • B.S./B.A. degree with a major in business administration, or MBA preferred. • 5-8 years prior HR Management position in a high-growth manufacturing company. • Software and Office Equipment Knowledge: to include in depth working knowledge of Payroll Systems, ERP systems, MS OFFICE (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Explorer).
